Nintendo’s great run within the United States market continues this month in June. In fact, they are pretty much obliterating the competition even with an increase in sales for competitors, the PSP and Xbox 360. The Wii has sold through 381,800 units with Mario Party 8 and Wii Play taking out the top two spots on the chart. More Inside >> Furthermore, Pokmon Battle Revolution and Resident Evil 4 are also kicking in at 8 and 9. Not to forget the DS though, with Nintendo’s handheld selling through 561,900 units with Pokmon games in place at positions 3 and 4. While this is all excellent news, the real surprise is Mario Party 8, which, while released to excessive sales in June, is still maintaining a strong sell through. Full charts available inside!
