According to a manufacturing trade site, Nintendo are looking at increasing the suppliers of Wii components and have been in talks with several companies. While the article doesnt mention an increase of console production, an increase in the manufacture of components would mean that more consoles will be built as a result. At last weeks E3 Nintendos George Harrison said the Wii could continue to be in short supply even over Christmas so perhaps this is an attempt to alleviate the problem before it happens.
