In a rather perplexing move, Nintendo have requested that developer, bPlus, remove bongo controller support for their upcoming WiiWare title Plttchen: Twist N Paint. Initially supposed to be used during a multiplayer mode, bPlus were asked to remove the support for the controller in order to prevent alienation of customers who didn’t own the obscure peripheral. Having removed support for the accessory in Donkey Kong Barrel Blast, do Nintendo want to pretend the bongos never existed?
