While Nintendo of Korea was formed some months ago, not much of the company has been heard of since, however today it seems last weeks plan for the Korean launch of the DS Lite were finalised and the country will see the console on Jan 18. Nintendo also said a Wii featuring Korean would be making an appearance later in 2007.
More Inside Nintendo will also be working close with Korean game software developers who have great expertise in developing online games. Nintendo has just begun developing games with the Korean game company Nexon, a leading MMORPG company and we all know how much Korea loves there MMOs. Good to see NOK finally paying off for Nintendo.
