Nintendo forced to pay for patent infringement

A small Texan video gaming company has sued Nintendo for a patent infringement. Allegedly, the patent infringement was issued when Nintendo were designing controllers for it’s Nintendo Wii and Nintendo Gamecube systems. A federal jury found in favour of the prosecutors, Anascape Ltd. and have issued Nintendo a 21 million dollar fine. Nintendo spokesperson Charlie Scibetta has announced that Nintendo will seek an appeal to lower the fine. Microsoft was also sued for the same items, but settled out of court. Source: Kotaku
