Several features will be missing from the Nintendo 3DS launch

Nintendos pushing online on the Nintendo 3DS extravagantly in some ways, you just might have to wait a little longer for some of them. Despite Nintendo showing off the brand new and improved eShop, the feature, among many will not be ready for the launch on March 25th and 27th in Europe and America respectively.

The eShop is the new name for the Shopping Channel that the DSi has and is more than just a store with lots of the features from the Nintendo Channel such as ratings and recommendation of games done through the slick new interface.

Nintendo also says that the functionality to transfer your games from your DSiWare wont be available on launch, a dampener for people who plan to trade in and upgrade to a 3DS.

An update will be required now to access all these features post launch, and Aussies – we still dont know when that is.
