Nintendo today have announced that they are pushing back the US Release of New Super Mario Bros by one week to May 15th, which brings it out one week after the E3 instead of the week of.
The delay is most likely due to logistics; the E3 is the biggest week (apart from a launch) for Nintendo. Launching it on that week may have over shadowed the game, however the people who miss out the most will be people attending the E3 as most of them only have the E3 week off, and the by Saturday most will have of left. Arnt I lucky am in LA till Tuesday and will be able to pickup up a copy to review and to play on the plane trip back.
Also today Big Brain Academy the second title in the Brain Training series has also been given a definitive date of June 5. The Australian release of New Super Mario Bros remains on track for June 8.
