Nintendo have created a page on Bebo.com, a social networking site, to promote the recently released game Animal Crossing: Let’s go to the City. Surprisingly, they want you to be anything but social disallowing comments, and the page acts as more of an advertisement than anything. When asked about the matter, Zoe Cooper Junior product manager at Nintendo has said… More inside “”Wed rather people received information through word-of-mouth than us controlling it. We encourage them to talk, but we just want them to take the conversation elsewhere.”" Ironic that a page on a social networking site, promoting a game focused on interaction doesn’t want their page clogged up with it.
