Contrary to a report only a few days ago from the New York Times, Nintendo will not be releasing full downloadable DS games through the Wii. The report was a misunderstanding referring to the DS demo download service confirmed by Nintendo some many months ago. Nintendo clarifies “”Users can download games to play on Wii, and, in the future, the Nintendo DS will be able to receive demo versions of some DS games from Wii, but not the entire game. More inside Nintendo continued, “”The demo will be erased once the Nintendo DS is turned off.”" The demo download service is a part of the upcoming channel titled “”Everyone’s Nintendo Channel”", which has no current release date.
