Nintendo has put their 77% increase of profits to use already purchasing Baten Kaitos and Xenogears developers Monolith Soft from Namco Bandai. While its doubtful Nintendo got the licenses for Xenogears or Baten Kaitos we wont know for sure until later. However what is certain from the Japanese Press release is that Nintendo now owns 80% of the company. Monolith Soft is also currently developing Disaster: Day of Crisis for the Wii.

Its good to see Nintendo spending some money to pick up some studios and expand their portfolio; well have more on this soon. Source NeoGaf
