Could another DS Metroid Prime game be on the way? Nintendo doesnt rule it out

While most people are pining for a return of the 2D Metroid titles for the DS, Nintendos Kensuke Tanabe, who oversaw Retro Studios Prime games, says that the Prime franchise might get another run soon, and in fact they are always planning new iterations.

"We are always planning to make new games in the Metroid Prime series," he has told the Official Nintendo Magazine UK. "Depending on the timing and the situation, we cannot deny the possibility of realising it on DS or DSi."

The Metroid Prime, and indeed the Metroid series, hasnt been seen on the DS since 2005 when Metroid Prime Hunters was released. It remains to this day one of the better FPS games on the DS.

So any one for more Prime?
