Nintendo Japan is running a Mario Kart Time Trial Competition! Annouced earlier today on the Nintendo DS Japan website located here. As we know Mario Kart does’nt included a online Time Trial mode so how does one submit the scores?
Nintendo has secretly hidden a button press code conbination on the records screen on of the Time Trials, when you enter the combination “”Up, Down, L, R, Y, A”" a 16 digit code will show up you can then submit that to Nintendo Japan.
We can confirm that it works on the Japanese/American and the Australian copies of the games, however it is not possible for us to enter the competition. However it is possible Nintendo Australia could run a competition like this later, and we hope they do.
