Nintendo Download Update – Yeah, but no, but yeah

Four releases this week, only one of which is worth your attention

So its Toyko Game Show week, its all very exciting. There are new game releases and updates on games soon to hit. That is, of course, unless youre a Nintendo fan, because not only was Nintendo not at TGS (which is to be expected) but third parties felt compelled to show off absolutely nothing.

So to make up for that, Nintendo has helped us out this week. Theyve picked a whole batch of good games to put up on the Wii and DSi shopping channels. Oh? Thats right, they havent and the best update is infact not a game at all.

DSiWare

myDiary (Nnooo, 200 Points) – The proud shiny beacon of the releases this week. For 200 points, you get a full diary/calendar app for your DSi. Set alarms, take notes, all the good stuff and for cheap too. I checked this out this morning and its very polished and clean, sorry the design nerd in me is coming out with that comment.

Petz Hamster Superstar and Petz Nursery (Ubisoft – 800 Points each) – This week you have the honour of not one, but two Petz games. Petz Hamster Superstar lets you take care of… well, a hamster, and Petz Nursery lets you take care of kittens. Both games to which are the more expensive 800 points.

WiiWare

Adventure on LOST ISLAND – Hidden Object Game (ATeam Inc – 500 Points) – The ATeam has made a game, well not really – but they could probably have. Adventure of Lost Island is the return of the Hidden Object Games weve seen in the post. 500 points gets you in.
