Nintendo DSiWare transferable to 3DS

Hidden away in the specs sheet is the good news weve been waiting to hear

Got a collection of DSiWare games on your DSi or DSi XL and not sure if you’ll be able to hold onto them when you get your 3DS? Worry no more because hidden away in the specs sheet for the Nintendo 3DS is this tasty broken translated nugget. You will be able to move, albeit a limited number of times, your DSiWare from your old console to the Nintendo 3DS. The notes do say that some software cannot be moved.

The inability to move DSiWare from console to console has been annoying even with just the DSi models out. If you wanted a fancy new colour or a DSi XL you’d lose your DSiWare as it was tied to the console. This has now been fixed and we can all celebrate.
