Nintendo DSi tops 3 million in Japan

Cant stop the DS train it just keeps on-a chugging, choo-choo

Famitsu publisher Enterbrain has revealed that as of August 2nd the Nintendo DSi has solder over 3 million units in Japan. That means there is now a 27 million Nintendo DS units in Japan, the 3 million total was no doubt helped along by the release of Dragon Quest IX which more than doubled the amount of DS consoles sold in one week.

As of the end of June this year there is now 107.75 million DS consoles of all types in the world.
