Nintendo DS suppports exhibition in Japan

In alternative news this week, Nintendo has partnered with Shigureden, a popular theme park in Kyoto, Japan. Attendee’s of the exhibit “”Ogura Hundred Poems By Famed 100 Poets”" are given a Button less Nintendo DS to view and interact with the exhibit and images as they walk around.

Its Nintendo’s senior advisor and former president of Nintendo Japan, Hiroshi Yamauchi belief that games and movie making were closely related, and was thinking of creating one at some time. The first film would have been about a Japanese poet who appears in the Ogura Hyakunin Isshu. Yamauchi is now the president and the major sponsor of the Ogura Hyakunin Isshu Project foundation.
