Updated features include an overhauled interface, the ability to recommend DS games, gameplay records, and other surprises
Keeping in line with the Everybodys Nintendo Channel in Japan, the updated Channel, available free-of-charge, will boast “higher-quality streaming videos, lists of top games that other viewers recommend and a new ability to rate and recommend Nintendo DS games.”
Current features of the Channel, such as DS Download Play and an extensive lineup of videos about Wii and Nintendo DS games, will remain.
The most appealing new arrival is a series of weekly videos called Nintendo Week. The hosted episodes will provide a regular look at what’s going on in the world of Nintendo.
The first episode features a comprehensive look at the third instalment in the Mario and Luigi series, the upcoming Mario and Luigi: Bowsers Inside Story. But thats not all; there is also an interview with Vicarious Visions, developer of Guitar Hero 5, and coverage of the new Nintendo DSi colours and DSiWare games.
There is no word yet on whether we will be receiving the update, but, as always, well keep you posted.
