Wii Fit, Nintendo’s new peripheral for the Wii is off to a good start in Japan and while we dont know yet when Wii Fit will hit our shores, Greg Arthurton of Nintendo Australia has said that Wii Fit is a logical step forward to open the gaming market to the non gamer audience. We believe it (Wii Fit/balance board) package is the first of its type to be specifically for health and wellbeing and offers quite a unique style of games altogether. Health and fitness is a very popular activity for a lot of people and to extend that to video games is a very logical step. When we can take that step, remains to be seen.
