Theres a new triple battle system, greater differences between the games and many more features
New footage of Pokémon versions Black and White has been shown off on the Japanese TV show Pokémon Sunday (really where else though). The new footage shows off the triple battle system which brings a new level of depth to the series and will rely on the strategic positioning of Pokémon during battle. There are also greater differences between black and white that go beyond just having different Pokémon, as each version will sport cities with a different look depending on which game you are playing. You also set off from Route 1, meaning the route number system has been refreshed- each Pokémon game before has simply added to the existing number of routes from previous games.
Pokémon Black and White are due for release in Japan in September, the rest of the world will be waiting to god knows when.
