Hot on the heals of the announcement Friday night of the Australian launch, New Zealand has today received its launch information. The Nintendo Wii console will be launching in New Zealand on December 7th and will be available at the recommended retail price of $499.90NZ. Thats about $439 in Aussie dollars.
The package like its Australian cousin will include the console, a Wii Remote Controller, one Nunchuk Controller and the Wii Sports compilation. It has also been revealed that company SoftPrint Interactive have taken over the distribution rights for Nintendo games and hardware in New Zealand, taking over from Monaco after 11 years.
