Nintendo has more reasons to celebrate with New Super Mario Bros Wii reaching another milestone

The worldwide sales of New Super Mario Bros. Wii have now reached over 10 million copies sold all around the world. It’s taken only 8 weeks to reach this point, which makes it the fastest-selling individual format title to hit 10 million.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii has been selling very well around the world, with the 10 million breaking down to 3 million copies in Japan, 4.5 million copies in North America and total sales in Europe approaching 3 million copies.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii was the 5th best-selling game in Australia with 200,000 copies being sold in the first seven weeks.
