New Super Mario Bros Wii gets third party plastic Wii Remote shell

Pictures of four SNES-style shells in the colours of the players in New Super Mario Bros Wii have appeared on Gamestops website.

American gaming retailer Gamestop has updated its website, showing off a new type of Wii Remote shell that appears to be made specifically for New Super Mario Bros Wii. The controllers come in each of the colours of the players in New Super Mario Bros Wii. It may look like a specifically made controller but it’s basically just a shell to slip over the Wii Remote on its side.

These arn’t made by Nintendo, but do feature the Wii and New Super Mario Bros Wii logo – indicating they might be some sort of licenced deal. Take a look below.
