Like those stupid plastic faceplates for mobiles, youll be able to swap out your guitar body for a new one
Activision has revealed the new look Guitar Hero guitars. All the electronics in the guitar have been moved into the neck and fretboard leaving the main part of the guitar (Im sure it has a name) to be freely swapped out for other designs.
The new designs are coming in Wii, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 flavourings and are fully backwards-compatible. Plus that fingerboard bit at the bottom has disappeared, probably a good thing.

Not sure how the Wii Remote is going to fit in there.
