A sequel to one of the Wiis launch titles, it will include new stunts, tracks, trucks, and more.
Monster 4×4: World Circuit is the Wiis second highest selling racing game (behind Mario Kart Wii), so it comes as no surprise that Ubisoft has announced a sequel, titled Monster 4×4: Stunt Racer.
There will of course be new stunts in Stunt Racer, as well as seven new tracks "ranging from inner-city construction sites to out-of-town canyons", according to Ubisoft. Alternate routes of various difficulty can be found on these.
The sequel will include 6 fully upgradable vehicles, on which you can apparently upgrade every vehicle part, including tires, spoiler, and engine. Five un-lockable supercars will also make an appearance.
Multiplayer will be limited to 4-player split-screen action, but it does include multiple modes, like Racing, Freestyle Show-Off, and Last Man Standing.
"Monster 4×4: Stunt Racer is a game the fans of Monster Truck World Circuit have been restlessly waiting for," said Tony Key, Ubisofts director of marketing. "Players will get to experience more excitement, upgraded features and the exhilarating action of steering the world’s most powerful trucks while tearing through new extreme off-road racing circuits."
Monster 4×4: Stunt Racer is set to arrive in the US this Spring, but were unsure about if/when a PAL version will be released.
