Way back in the early days before the Wii, a video started circulating the internet claiming to be the next Nintendo console. The video in question was rather professional looking and had many fans convinced. We’re of course talking about the Nintendo ON, the console itself was depicted as a sort of helmet. A recent interview with Shigeru Miyamoto revealed that this is something he would not be very fond of personally. More inside “”But if I can just add my personal opinion: if the new environment requires the player to wear some goggle-style, I really dont have a good impression of that.”" Said Miyamoto.
And really, would you do anything your lead man wouldn’t like? Miyamoto is one of the company’s most important assets, with his recent game Wii Fit set to likely outsell Grand Theft Auto IV, as well as being the mastermind behind such key franchises as Mario and Zelda.
