Metroid Prime Trilogy discontinued in Australia too

Seems the Prime Trilogy here is getting the chop, too

Following up on Nintendo America’s lead, it seems Nintendo Australia has cut the trilogy here as well. The game now appears in EB Game’s system as discontinued and has disappeared from listings on many other online retailers.

It’s pretty evident the game only got one print run here so snap it up while you can, the package is tremendous value. Whether or not we see a re-issue of the game in standard packaging, or perhaps the first two games made available separately as their original ’New Play Control’ remakes, remains to be seen.

Update: A third source has also confirmed that this game is indeed discontinued.
