Konami president Fumiaki Tanaka recently announced the company intends to remake classic games and revisit some of their franchises, possibly for the WiiWare platform. Mr. Tanaka said Konami were definitely interested in developing games on WiiWare, so it would be logical that some of these remakes and new installments in old franchises would make their way to Nintendo’s exciting new digital distribution channel. Good news for not only Konami fans, but also all Wii owners everywhere as Konami have one of the best back catalogues in the gaming business.
