Japanese Wii Event for September 14th – Wii Date Imminent?

I think its finally safe to say that the Wii release information is coming, with confirmed events in American and Europe, its now Japans turn. While no official event has been announced by Nintendo Japan, Gamefront has reported existence of a date at which information on the Wii launch, namely price and launch date could be made public. Obtained from Yahoo! Japan, which in turn references Japanese newspaper Kabushiki Shinbun, on September 14th Nintendo is holding a Wii presentation where the attendees will be able to play from a selection of Wii titles. The Wii price and release date are expected to make a showing. So anywhere from September 14th to 15th you can expect to finally get the Wii details weve all be waiting for, lets hope the Aussie details arent far behind.
