Nintendo knows you want it, and youll probably pay a high price for it
Remember when the Nintendo 3DS was revealed? The excitement? The aura? Well, Nintendo knows you liked it too and for being so damn positive about the console – theyre going to charge you for it. Bloomberg is reporting that during a analyst meeting yesterday Nintendo CEO, Satoru Iwata, was confronted with the question on the Nintendo 3DSs high price of 25,000 Yen or about $300AU (a direct currency conversion is never a smart move though). Iwata said, while the price was set on numerous factors, the fact that the 3DS got such a positive reaction from the E3 helped paved the way for the price.
Since its reveal, the Nintendo 3DS price has been a point of contention. Some say its too much, some say its fair for what the console offers. Whatever the case is, next time Nintendo announce something – shut up about it.
