Earthworm Jim, a staple gaming icon during the Super Nintendo era is making a once in a life time comeback in a relaunch of the franchise. Interplay have teamed up with Jim’s creator Douglas TenNapel to rejuvenate the series with a new game and an animated feature film. While the platforms of the new game was not revealed speculation is mounting that due to the recent appearance of Jim on Nintendo’s Virtual Console the Wii and DS could be likely homes for the worms return.
