Collectors editions are something Wii only gamers are not familiar with as most developers usually only offer Playstation 3 or Xbox 360 versions of multiplatform games with collectors type bonuses. Sega, however, is bucking the trend with The House of the Dead: Overkill, today announcing that when PAL gamers preorder Overkill they will receive the game in a slipcase accompanied with an exclusive graphic novel which takes place the night before the game. More inside Prelude to an OVERKILL tells the fateful stories of Agent Washington and Varla Gunns, on the night before the violent and shocking events of the game. The graphic novel is illustrated by Steve Copter, of dissident punk band Black Mekon. The collectors edition will only be available through selected retailers as a pre-order bonus. The selected retailers though will be announced at a later date.
The House of the Dead: OVERKILL is set for release in February 2009.
