Henry Hatsworth sneaks into Aussie stores

Previously abandoned by EA, it seems that EB Games still wants to give it a shot here in Australia albeit a bit differently.

If you haven’t imported it, or picked it up at one of the other game retailers who import DS games in Australia, EB games are now stocking Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure. However they’re selling it as ’preowned’ when they are clearly new copies of the game (Mint condition manuals and boxes). They are the US versions of he game with bilingual text on the box with the OFLC G rating sticker over the top. Here’s a shot from a local EB with three copies.

We’re able to confirm that these are EB’s head office sending these copies to stores but with the number of copies per store different everywhere. At $44.95 and the dollar the way it is, it’s probably still cheaper to pick up a copy overseas but at least it’ll get the games into more peoples’ hands if they happen to see the game in stores.

Henry Hatsworth in the Puzzling Adventure is a great but tough puzzle game for the DS that was never released in Australia. EA cites that they didn’t think it would sell well enough but still classified the game for release anyway. One of 2009’s best DS games could now be yours.
