Chalk up another couple of games skipping the already busy holiday season. The duo of Geometry Wars games heading to the Wii and DS will be heading to Australia next year in January 2008. Geometry Wars: Galaxies, based on the XBLA are new and expanded versions with tons of enemies, more than 60 planets, bigger power-ups and a brand new Battle Drone to help players tear through the campaign mode. Also, the game is also the first Wii game to offer linkage to the Nintendo DS. So we get it a bit later- and also a bit cheaper, The Wii version will clock in at $69 and the DS at $49.
