In an interview with Advanced Media Network, Will Wright has confirmed that Spore is indeed heading for the Nintendo DS. Spore allows players create a character from DNA that will grow, survive, and mate as it evolves from a single-celled organism to a fully-formed member of an establishing species. The DS Version is not expect to hit until 2007, although we may see something at E3.
