First official details on Dead Space Extraction for Wii

Its not a port! Electronic Arts has revealed the first solid details for Dead Space Extraction. The game is a new Wii entry in the series and is being jointly developed by EA and Eurocom. The game is a built for Wii as a ground-up instalment is a prequel to last years first game. It is said to reveal the events leading up to Isaac Clarke’s mission on the USG Ishimura. Youll be taking the role of all-new heroine, escaping an infection that has infected a mining colony. More inside

EA says “”Dead Space Extraction will marry the innovative motion controls of the Wii Remote with a frenetic first person perspective to create a new action-packed horror experience.”" Unlike the HD version, the game will be an on-rails first person game, but also have cooperative multiplayer. The original game was a single player third person game. The game is set for release in the American fall, which should be about October or November our time.
