It had to happen. After Konamis PES brought soccer to the Wii in an intuitive way it was a given that EA was going to be inspired by their controls. FIFA 09 will not only have the near exact same control scheme as PES but will also include other schemes such as automatic passing. More control methods are planned to be included also. Its not all the same as PES, however, with FIFA 09 including a Footi mode which puts 8 Miis onto the field for some arcade style gameplay.
