Fatal Frame 4 fan translation released

Forget Sega, Fatal Frame fans do what Nintendont

While Nintendo took care of Fatal Frame IV in Japan, it didnt take care of the collaboration between TECMO and grasshopper manufacture inc anywhere else. Not content with letting the fans suffer without their very own horror fix, a Fatal Frame fansite has done what Nintendo couldnt be bothered to do and translated the game into English.

The patch is a real simple affair too, with users only needing to put the patch on an SD card and not only will it swap out the Japanese for English, but also allow you to boot the Japanese disc. No modding needed. Further add-ons are planned to add English dubbing to the cutscenes as well as new costumes, but for now remain in development.

Oh, and if you havent got a copy of the game yet, why not pick it up from Play-Asia and help Vooks out with this handy link.
