Titled Flips, the series will feature the works of Enid Blyton, Eoin Colfer, Cathy Cassidy and more

After Nintendos release early this year of 100 Classic Book Collection for the Nintendo DS, it was only inevitable that wed see some similar titles starting to come out for the handheld. This has now come to fruition, as EA have announced a new series of book collections for the Nintendo DS, under the name Flips.

Each release in the series will contain 6-8 books, all from a particular author or series. This is a fair bit less than Nintendos effort; however, the difference is these are all modern childrens stories. Various extras will also be included, like collectable creatures hidden throughout the pages, quizzes and character information. Additionally, youll be able to share sample chapters of the stories with friends over WiFi.

Currently, four titles have been revealed, but hopefully more are on the way. You can see the complete list of books contained in each below:

Enid BlytonThe Enchanted Wood, The Magic Faraway Tree, The Folk of the Faraway Tree, Enchanted World – Petal and the Eternal Bloom, Enchanted World – Melody and the Enchanted Harp, Enchanted World – Silky and the Rainbow Feather
