EA has opened up its multi-billion dollar wallet and bought out PC golf game developers Headgate Studios. The studio now renamed EA Salt Lake will now focus on Wii development exclusively and is currently working on Tiger Wood 2007.

Headgate has worked closely with EA since Tiger Woods 2007 on the PC but has as of late expanded its portfolio to creating the PC version of The Godfather and Madden NFL 07. Speaking to NextGen.biz they have revealed that they are working on two Wii games at the moment, one being Tiger Wood 2007 for Wii and the other another unknown Wii game.
