The latest from EAs Play division will be a mix of object-based puzzle solving and will encourage the creation of user-generated content
This new puzzle game comes from the same wing of EA responsible for The Sims and Stephen Spielberg’s exceptional Boom Blox games for Wii. The game will have players solving puzzles with an array of objects and players will be challenged to think of the most creative ways to solve them. In promoting the new game, the General Manager of Bright Light Studios, Harvey Elliot, spoke of the title’s family-focused gameplay: “Create uses families’ imaginations to develop new ways to play together that are both fun and challenging…We wanted to design a game where the entire family can explore, decorate, and solve challenges where no solution is wrong and the only limit is the imagination."
The user-generated component of the game will require players to unlock the rich library of objects and environmental tools by playing and exploring the main part of the game (think LittleBigPlanet on the PS3). The game will feature a level-sharing tool that allows the various creations to be shared over WiiConnect24.
