The King of Pop gets a new game later this year

A Michael Jackson game is on the way from Ubisoft later this year. Revealed at the Ubisoft E3 Presentation were simply the "Michael Jackson" logo and Ubisoft’s logo, and not much more. Since then, a press release has revealed a game is on the way for all consoles and will be usingthe "motion-detecting camera systems" of the Xbox 360 and PlayStation.

Strangely, the press release mentions that the game will also work with the "hand held" controllers of the Wii. So the Wii doesn’t have motion now? There will also be DS and PSP versions of the games.

Ubisoft marketing vice president Tony Key says as part of the game, players will learn how to mimic the late Jackson’s signature moves. Key says "you are going to learn to moonwalk."

The game is due out later this year.
