Dragons Lair trilogy coming to Wii

The classic 1983 laserdisc adventure finds yet another new home

Publisher Destineer is bringing all three Dragon’s Lair games to the Wii on a single disc. The games feature the adventures of Dirk the Daring who strives to rescue the princess Daphne from an evil dragon. The series has received several ports prior to this Wii release, including a side-scrolling platformer version on the Nintendo Entertainment System, which gained an infamous status due to its notorious level of difficulty.

As well as all the original modes (with remastered animation), the game also includes a ’watch mode’, for those that would prefer a digital movie experience.

No hints at a release date as of yet.
