Dragon quest IX’s Japanese launch has been delayed from its March 28th launch and is pushed back to an unwelcome July 11th 2009. Square Enix has blamed the delay on bugs that need to be sorted out. Whatever the case, this delay goes much further than Nintendo as production on Final Fantasy XIII will be affected causing another delay. Gamers should take comfort in the fact that delays mean better quality and that you patience, will hopefully come with rewards. Or so says Square-Enix.
