The latest entry in the popular RPG series will be in stores on July 23
From the people that brought us Professor Layton, Dragon Quest IX will be the first title in the smash-hit series to be released on the DS. It’s sold millions since its Japanese release last year and with Nintendo taking care of publishing in Australia, hopefully the game gets the recognition it deserves here.
Customisation plays a big part in Dragon Quest IX. When you’re not traveling the world conquering fearsome beasts, you can choose from over 1000 pieces of clothing, weapons, armour and other items to give your character a unique look. You can also select your character’s class which influences their strengths and abilities.
Throw in an epic storyline, local and online multiplayer, downloadable quests and you have yourself a game offering a limitless experience. Look out for it down here in late July/August. We hope.
