Youll recall that between last December and May, the government opened a public consultation to gather our views on the R18+ classification issue. 98% of submissions were in favour of the new rating, yet the decision was delayed as censorship ministers "requested further analysis of community and expert views". Yeah, because theyre not part of the public are they?
A new meeting on the issue was to be held this month and has now been postponed until November 4-5 due to the upcoming election. Fine work there, guys. See, this is what happens when the kinds of people who think gamers are scarier than bikies run our government; we cant have nice things.
