Nintendos new Demo Play mode for Wii games, shown off at E3, will be integrated into future DS titles
The feature, which utilises an AI to effectively let games play themselves, was first announced as a feature of ‘New Super Mario Bros. Wii’. The feature was designed to allow players to pass sections of the game they found too challenging. The mode was later revealed to be part of a new approach to games development by Nintendo and would be used in other, as-yet un-named projects.
The inclusion of ‘Demo Play’ on DS games was revealed recently by Japanese news outlet Nikkei.net, although no mention of specific games was made.
