Activisions next frontier in the pretend youre a musical maestro market- DJ Hero- is confirmed for the Wii. The DJ Hero website has launched today in promotion of the upcoming game, but so far is only offering an email sign-up for future newsletters. DJ Hero will be controlled by via a wireless ‘turntable’ featuring a cross fader and effects pedal that offer similar functionality to Guitar Hero’s whammy bar. The game is being developed by FreeStyleGames- makers of the relatively unknown B-Boy and a few of the Buzz! Junior quiz games on the PS2. Now you can play a plastic instrument version of an instrument that isnt really a musical instrument at all- Hooray!
