Nintendo Australia have been holding retailer nights and showing off the Wii these last few weeks. While a lot of news has come out of these events, most of which have been rumoured before but not technically confirmed, there is one bit of news we thought we would report.
It seems that the Component Cable for the Wii will go on sale in stores for Australia!, more details inside. No date (were hoping day one) or price have been set, but it is reported that the Wii Component cable will go on sale in stores due to the fact that there is a higher demand for it here than other countries, as strange as that may seem. Previously the GameCube Component Cable was only available from Nintendo Australia and were $49.95AU.
A confirmation from Nintendo on this and many other Wii related items is expected soon.
