You may recall recent comments from Resident Evil 5 producer Jun Takeuchi regarding the future of the franchise on Wii. Christian Svensson, Capcom’s Corporate Officer/VP of Strategic Planning & Business Development has offered up a comment. Well, okay… it’s more of a ‘no comment.’ “”You all know we’ve not announced any new REs for Wii (or any other platforms for that matter).”" Says Svensson. “”Alas, I’m not going to be able to share our roadmap here. Sorry guys, [Jun Takeuchi's] comments are going to stand as they are and Im not able to elaborate on them.”" More inside So now we play the waiting game. It would hardly be a smart move to drop their support of Resident Evil on Wii, considering the popularity and success of previous entries on the console.
