Nintendo is giving away the original Metroid if you pick up and registered you copy of Trilogy, at least in the UK so far
This could be an interesting first, with Nintendo Europe giving away a copy of the original Metroid when you registered your copy of Metroid Prime Trilogy when it’s released in Europe on September 4th.
However you’ll have to be quick with only the first 5,000 copies sold being able to get the games and you’ll need to have previously registered one of the previous Metroid Prime games.
So what about Australia? We don’t even know if we’ll be getting the steel book as of yet, however back in July Rose Lappin, the Managing Director of Nintendo Australia did hint that when we get the game “it’s got a little… special item in the book.” What’s exactly is this special item? “Just a little something in the book, but we need people to wait for that.”
Fret not, we’ve already shot off an email to Nintendo Australia to ask about the Metroid give away (and about the steel book) but we will let you know. In the same interview, Ms Lappin didn’t give us a release date, but thanks to our friends in retail we’d suggest you circle September October 15th on your calendar.
